Leta Frances Pemberton

December 13, 1940 - November 18, 2021

Leta Frances Pemberton, age 80, of Frisco, Texas passed away on November 18, 2021. She was born on December 13, 1940, to Leta Lorene Scott and Marion David Baker in Slayton, Texas. Leta received her bachelor’s degree in Nursing in Wichita Falls, this is when she met the love of her life. On May 29, 1960, in Wichita Falls, Texas Leta married Harold Glen Pemberton. Leta and Harold later moved to Frisco and started Pemberton Funeral Home in 1971.

Leta is survived by her two sons, David Pemberton and his wife, Laurie of Dallas, Texas, Banks Pemberton and his wife, Kamye of Gainesville, Texas; her three grandchildren, Brennan Pemberton, Forrest Pemberton, and Jacqueline Freedman; her brother, Jim Baker and his wife, Connie of Wichita Falls, Texas; and numerous extended family members and a host of friends.

Leta was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Glen Pemberton; parents, Leta and Marion Baker; her two brothers, Marian Baker Jr. and Billy Joe Baker.

Family and friends are invited to a Visitation on Friday, November 26, 2021 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 8520 Main Street, Frisco, Texas, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A Chapel Graveside Service will be held Sparkman/Hillcrest Mausoleum on Saturday, November 27, 2021, beginning at 11:00 AM.
