Our sincere and deepest condolences to Michael, Sharmane and the entire family in the lossof your Dad.Michael and Sharmane be comforted in knowing that you did your very best to make him comfortable in his last days. Lennie as he was affectionately called was a part of my life from a very young age. He became like a big brother to me and as our life journeys took us on different paths we never lost touch with each other throughout our lifetime. We only now have memories of Lennie, but these are very special memories of a loving, generous, compassionate and kind person. He loved his family and was a sincere friend, who was more than a brother to me. He was always engaging with a happy disposition, always wanting the best and sharing with those around him.As a smaller boy I was always impressed with his driving skills and fast cars. Lennie was always dependable whenever you solicited him help on projects large or small. You could rest assured he would always come through. I will miss him, but although he may be gone from us his Spirit lives on. We would wish for him to be still here with us but Jesus wants him more. My sweet Uncle Leonard, ‘Pops’ as I used to call you. My heart was saddened to hear that your time here on earth had expired. You always made me feel loved, and for that I am truly grateful. You always called me your favorite niece, and we used to chuckle about it. You were dear and special to me, and you will truly be missed. I am also grateful to Mike and Sharmane for insisting that you move to Texas so you could surround yourself with the love of your family. I was thrilled because I got to see you and spend some time with you. RIP Uncle. I will miss you and your smile that always warmed my heart. Love, Cher

Micheal and Sharmane, please take comfort in knowing that you both went above and beyond in caring for Papa in his last years on earth. He was truly happy and grateful for that. “The light of the morning so soon will be here. The heart of a Caregiver is a rare element on earth. They define the true meaning and value of God’s worth. The soul of Caregivers is precious and pure. The selfless compassion and love that they share provides relief, joy and comfort just knowing that they were there”. Rest In Peace Papa Foster, the storm is over now. You can see Heaven.
The Thompson Family, Toronto, Canada, April 21, 2021 My husband Leonard Foster (Gary, Daddy) was a blessing in my life, his son's life, and many many others. And for me, his memory remains alive and well, and will be treasured for the rest of my life. We had our ups and downs, but I am very grateful to him, and for what we had, and shared. Our hearts were empty being so far apart from each other, since November 2010 due to sickness, and his caring heart for his loved one. But our communications and support for each never cease. I could never forget that meeting him was fate, and becoming his wife, and the mother of his child, my partner, and my friend was the choice we made. Then falling in love with him, and he with me, was beyond our control. 40 yrs together, and 37 yrs of marriage, with absolutely no regrets. His life mattered to me, and will continue to matter; His acts of goodness and courage will never be forgotten. My husband was a all-in-one husband; a Jack of all Trades, there was not a task that was too big for him to challenge successfully! Memories of such awesomeness will never be erased from my heart, and all who experience his handy work. He was a wonderful, loving and caring father to our son Gregory for 19 years. I will grieve forever, and sustain the connection of our love in his memory! My grief will never end, it will only change the cycle of our lives, and to become a passage to move on, it's not a sign of regrets, or weakness, nor a lack of my faith in what we had. My everlasting grief is the price of our love, and memories of all the good times we had and share: My Gary, You are gone from my sight, but you are never gone from my heart. My soul knows you are at peace; And God's perpetual light is shining upon you. And a joyful reunion with your loving creator! Peace Be with You, Forever my love!!
