Lena Baker Graham of Plano, Texas went to be with the Lord February 21, 2016 at the age of 87. She was born March 15, 1928, to Dan Baker and Kate (Lawler) Baker in Dawson, Texas. Lena was a 1945 graduate of Dawson High School. She married Harold Graham on July 30, 1954, in Waco, Texas. Lena worked as a secretary for many years at various companies. Harold and Lena moved to Dallas, Texas in 1963, and Plano in 1976. She was a lifelong member of the Methodist church where she served as a volunteer in the library. Lena also volunteered at her children’s schools and the Collin County Assistance Center. She loved to bake and work in the garden.
Lena is survived by her husband, Harold Graham of Plano, Texas; daughters, Vicki Musall and husband Edward of Plano, Texas and Valerie Phillips and husband Jason also of Plano, Texas; grandchildren, Chris Musall, Britton Musall, Jackson Phillips, and Annabelle Phillips all of Plano, Texas; sisters, Mary Baker of Burleson, Texas, Ruby Faucett and husband George of Dawson, Texas, and Shelba Crabb and husband Charles of Clayton, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dan and Kate Baker and brothers, Bill Baker, Dan Baker and Lawrence Baker.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m., Friday, February 26, 2016 at Custer Road United Methodist Church, 6601 Custer Road, Plano, Texas 75023. Interment will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 27, 2016 at Dawson Cemetery in Dawson, Texas.
