Lee Ann Nelson of Allen, Texas left this world on January 23, 2026, at the remarkable age of 93. She was born on March 13, 1932, in Abilene, Texas. She was the cherished daughter of Luther Justice Lane and Lucy Lee (Chadwick) Lane and grew up with a steadfast love for family and faith.
On January 21, 1955, Lee Ann married the love of her life, Wesley Theodora Nelson, in Fort Worth, Texas. Together, they built a beautiful life, with Lee Ann dedicating herself to her family as a loving wife and mother. She was a beacon of love and kindness in the lives of everyone she touched. Lee Ann was a member of Christ Church in Plano, Texas. She will be lovingly remembered by her family and friends as a true matriarch and a gentle soul whose presence will be dearly missed.
Lee Ann is survived by daughter, Anngelia Hustead; son, Mark Nelson; and a host of other loving family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.
