Mr. Lawrence Edward O’Connor Sr., age 70 of Trenton, TX, passed away May 28, 2005 in McKinney, TX. He was born on October 9, 1934 in Chicago, Illinois to Joseph J. and Laura V. (Hageman) O’Connor. He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy. On January 15, 1989, he married Terri Ward in Las Vegas, NV. He was a retired operations analyst for American Airlines. Presently he was a dispatcher for the Fannin County Sheriff's office. He was a member of St. Gabriel’s Catholic Church in McKinney. Survivors include his wife, Terri O’Connor of Trenton; children and their spouses, Kathleen Bathe of Bedford, TX; Lawrence E. and Cheryl O’Connor of Portland, OR, Laurie and Peter Lottimer of Belmar, NJ, Lisa Stuck of McKinney, TX, Bridget and Kelly Willis of Arlington, TX, David and Laura O’Connor of Hurst, TX, Kelly and David MaHaffey of Terrell, TX, Lincoln Jones of Trenton, TX, and Benjamin Jones of Ft. Worth, TX; 20 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; sisters, Charlotte Sheehan of Plainview, IL, Kathleen Nemecek of Springfield, IL, Virginia and husband, Ted Krzus; numerous nieces and nephews. His parents, sister, Mary Ellen Baker, and brothers, Joseph “Jack” and James J. O’Connor precede him in death. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 4:30 PM Thursday, June 2, 2005, at St. Gabriel’s Catholic Church, 110 St. Gabriel Way, McKinney, TX. Visitation will be 7-9 Wednesday at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
