Mr. Lawrence Eugene Ellis, age 76 of Allen, Texas passed away on July 10, 2005 in Rowlett, Texas. He was born on April 5, 1929 in Pitcher, New York. He married Hildegard Konarski on December 15, 1978 in Germany. Mr. Ellis retired from the U.S. Army and was of the Methodist faith. He is survived by his wife, Hildegard Ellis of Allen, Texas; daughter, Betty Clark and husband, Bob of Yale, Oklahoma; step children, Lensey Ricky Konarski of Plano, Texas and Donna Carolyn Konarski of Raleigh, North Carolina; and several grandchildren. Mr. Ellis was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Charles Ellis. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, July 13, 2005 at the DFW National Cemetery with Rev. Danny Buster officiating. Visitation will be from 7:00 to 8:00 PM, Tuesday at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
