Laverne Francis Brown, age 95, of Frisco, Texas passed away on June 2, 2018. She was born on August 13, 1922 in Wakefield, Michigan to Mary Elizabeth (Pezzetti) and Mose Giansante. On October 8th, 1949 Laverne married Lyle William Brown. They resided in Hancock, MI until 1978 when they moved to Murrieta, CA. In 2004 Mrs. Brown moved to Frisco, TX.
Laverne is survived by her daughter, Susan Moe, and son, Patrick Brown and his wife, Kay; three grandchildren, Christopher Moe, Andrea Brown, and Mary Brown; three step grandchildren, Melissa Lynn Martin and her husband David, Douglas Schilly and his wife Bonnie, and James Schilly; and five step great grandchildren, Todd Alexander, Shawn Alexander, Megan Schilly, Morgan Schilly, and Wesley Schilly.
Laverne is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brother Harold Giansanti.
Family and friends are invited to a Visitation at Murrieta Valley Funeral Home, Murrieta, CA, on June 14, 2018 at 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Martha Catholic Church, 37200 Whitewood Road, Murrieta, California 92563 on June 15, 2018 at 11:00 am. Interment will be held at Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside, California on June 15, 2018 at 1:31 pm.
