Laurita Wilkinson, age 78, of The Colony, Texas passed away on July 4, 2017. She was born on November 11, 1938 to Lou Ada (Smith) and Franklin Dean Guthrie in Belton, Texas. On July 5, 1969, Laurita married Harold Edward Wilkinson on July 5, 1969 in Dallas, Texas. She worked for Frito Lay and Pepsi Co as a National Credit Manager.  

Laurita is survived by her daughter Stephanie Dickinson and her husband Daniel of the Colony, Texas; four grandchildren, Riley, Brandon, Christopher and Cory Dickinson; two brothers, David Guthrie and his wife, Donna of Belton, Texas and CWO3 Kenith Dean Guthrie and his wife, Debbie of Carrollton, Virginia; three nephews, Josiah Guthrie, Micaiah Guthrie and Kenith Dean Guthrie, II, Marius Pfeiffer.  

Laurita is preceded in death by her husband, Edward Wilkinson and her parents.  

Family and friends are invited to a Visitation at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 8520 Main Street, Frisco, Texas 75033, on Monday, June 10, 2017 from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM. A Graveside Service will be held at North Belton Cemetery, 1500 N. Main Street, Belton, Texas 76513, on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 beginning at 11:00 AM. An Evening Memorial Service will follow at Grace Avenue United Methodist Church, 3521 Main Street, Frisco, Texas 75034, with Rev. Marcus Womack officiating beginning at 6:00 PM.
