Lauren Rhea Counts, age 24, of Plano, Texas, passed away June 18, 2007, in Sherman, Texas. She was born on December 26, 1982, in Baltimore, Maryland, to Clyde Preston and Donna (Overall) Counts, Jr. She graduated from Plano East Senior High School and attended Prestonwood Baptist Church. In July 2003, she married Eric Thompson in Plano. Lauren, a free spirit with a generous heart, is survived by her husband, Eric Thompson; son, Tristan Counts of Stillwater, MN; father, C.P. Counts of Plano; mother, Donna Williams of Stillwater, MN; grandparents, Clyde and Ruby Counts of Fayetteville, NC; brother, Tyler Counts of Plano; and a host of other family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM, Monday, June 25, 2007, at Prestonwood Baptist Church with Rev. Doug Overall officiating. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Sunday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Tristan Counts Educational Fund.
