Enck, Laura Mann Newberry of McKinney, Texas passed away unexpectedly and peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, March 14, 2009. She was born in Texarkana and was raised in Dallas where she attended The Hockaday School and Highland Park High School. She was preceded in death by her mother, Meredith Mann McCracken and father, Fred K. Newberry. She is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Doug Enck; sons, Troy Enck and Scott Enck and wife Deidra; brother, Kenny Newberry; Sister, Denny Cope and four grandchildren who dearly loved her; Kevin, Brian, Dylan and Peyton Enck. Laura had a world-famous sense of humor and she overcame many obstacles in her life including losing her hearing as a teenager, and she did not let that hold her back for a minute. She was unique in many ways and was a true one of a kind, who will never be forgotten.
