Laura Ann Johnson, age 63, passed away on April 24, 2026, in Frisco, Texas. She was born on January 7, 1963, in Bonham, Texas to Jo Neta (Pratt) and Jimmy Edward Wilkinson.
On November 3, 1984, Laura married the love of her life, Robert “Bobby” Allan Johnson, in Coppell, Texas. Together they built a life centered on Jesus Christ, love, commitment, and shared memories with each other.
Laura was a devoted wife, loyal friend, and cherished member of her community whose life was marked by deep relationships, quiet strength, and unwavering love. Known for her fierce loyalty and discerning spirit, she was a steadfast “wingman” to those she loved—always present, always protective, and always genuine. Though naturally reserved, Laura possessed a sharp mind and remarkable attentiveness, remembering the smallest details about others and expressing her care through thoughtful, intentional acts of kindness.
She dedicated 28 years of her career to Frito-Lay/ PepsiCo in finance, where she formed lasting friendships along the way and was respected for her diligence and integrity. Beyond her work, Laura was the heart of her close-knit circle of friends, many of whom shared over two decades of life, faith, and friendship together. Laura was a faithful member of Frisco First Baptist Church who served faithfully behind the scenes, supporting others without seeking recognition, and was a source of strength and wisdom to her family and friends.
Laura had a love for travel and adventure, visiting 36 countries and creating lasting memories with those closest to her. Among all the places she visited, her favorite destination was Paris, France, a city she held close to her heart. She also had a dry sense of humor, a strong sense of discernment, and a generosity that extended to everyone she encountered.
Above all, Laura will be remembered for her deep love—steadfast, intentional, and enduring. Her life leaves a legacy of faith, friendship, and compassion that will continue to impact all who knew her.
Laura is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Bob Johnson of Frisco, Texas; her brother, Daniel Wilkinson and his wife, Mandee of Keller, Texas; her father, Jimmy Edward Wilkinson and his wife, Martha of Whitewright, Texas; and extended family members, and a host of friends.
Laura was preceded in death by her mother, Jo Neta Lewis.
