Larry Wayne Moss of Aubrey, Texas passed away January 27, 2019 at the age of 74. He was born on June 10, 1944 to James Arlie Moss and Elsie Mae (Duncan) Moss in Dallas, Texas where he grew up and attended schools. Larry married Cathy Anne Miers on March 8, 1985 in Dallas. He worked as a route driver for Adolph and Canteen Vending. Larry also worked for McBride Electric. He enjoyed traveling, playing Texas Hold’ Em with close friends and visiting the local casinos. Larry was a Texas Rangers and Dallas Cowboys fan.
Larry is survived by his beloved wife of 34 years, Cathy Moss of Aubrey, Texas; children, David Glenn Moss and wife, Maria of Mesquite; Carolyn Kay Thompson of Mesquite, Texas and Karen Vaughan and husband, Lance of Anna, Texas; grandchildren, Josh Moss and wife, Brittany, Dalton Moss, Savannah Thompson, Dustin Winchell and Lexi Winchell; great-grandson, Jett Moss; brother, Bobby Moss and wife, Linda of McKinney, Texas and their son, David; father-in-law, Kenneth Miers and wife, Betty; brother-in-law, Weldon Miers; nephew, Jerry Lee Moss and wife, Sandy; and a host of other loving family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Jerry Moss, Kenneth Moss and Donnie Moss.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon, Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013. Interment is to follow in Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation Tuesday evening from 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
