Larry L. Beavers of Princeton, Texas, passed away May 14 at the age of 67. His family was by his side as he succumbed after a long battle with cancer.
Larry was born September 26, 1955, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Jane Beavers. He married Tina Trizza on May 5, 1984, in Plano, Texas, and they had just celebrated their 39th wedding anniversary. He had recently retired from Nucor Building Systems, where he was a senior district sales manager.
Larry touched the lives of many people in his 67 years, and he was always quick with a joke or story. He loved the outdoors, from hunting and fishing to tinkering in his backyard. Known as "Uncle Larry" to many, he was extremely proud of the various roles throughout his life: son, brother, husband, father, cousin, grandfather, salesman, boss, little league coach, comedian and friend.
Larry is survived by his wife, Tina, and three sons: Vince, Dane (wife, Kellye) and Shaeffer (partner, Vivian). He had two grandchildren: Hannah and Bowen. Along with a host of other loving family and friends, he also is survived by his four brothers and one sister: Bruce (wife, Thea), Sue, Jack (wife, Carol), Rick and Keith (wife, Lei).
A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. on Monday, May 22, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, located at 2525 Central Expressway North in Allen, Texas.
