Larry Bisterfelt, age 63, of Tom Bean, Texas passed away Tuesday, January 30, 2007 in Plano, Texas. He was born, February 21, 1943 in Cedar Falls, Iowa to Lawrence Horace and Opal Pauline (Shepherd) Bisterfelt. Mr. Bisterfelt retired from Rockwell International in 1986. An avid fisherman, he moved to Tom Bean where he enjoyed country living. Larry also loved animals, especially his 7 cats. He is survived by his wife Patsy Marie Bisterfelt of Tom Bean, Texas; brother, John Bisterfelt of Van Alstyne, Texas; sister, Laura Nicklaus and her husband "Smoke" of Parkersburg, Iowa; half brother, Floyd Rubendall; cousin, Shirley Mae Smith; and many other loving relatives and friends. Preceding him in death were his parents; half brother, Clarence D'happart; and half sister, Mary Ellen Bliss. The family was invited to the funeral home at their convenience on Wednesday, January 31 to pay their respects and to sign the register book. A private visitation was held Wednesday evening from 6-8 PM.
