Lance McMeans, age 54, of Princeton, Texas, passed away on September 6, 2017. He was born October 10, 1962 in Big Spring, Texas, to Weldon Owens and Mary Doxy (Smith) McMeans. Lance was a Texas Master Certified Nursery Professional and worked in the nursery business for over 35 years. He enjoyed building scale models, especially of the World War II era, and helping people create beautiful landscapes. Lance was a devoted husband and after 25 years together, his wife will greatly miss her best friend and partner.
Lance is survived by his wife, Marsha; brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, September 11, 2017 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation being held from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., Sunday evening, September 10, 2017 at the funeral home.
