Lâm Hoàng Lê, age 52, passed away peacefully on May 5, 2025, in Frisco, Texas. He was born on August 22, 1972, in Vietnam.
At the age of 12, Lam met the love of his life, Thao Nguyen, in the bustling neighborhood market at the heart of their community in Saigon, Vietnam. What began as a childhood friendship blossomed into a deep and enduring love. On December 25, 1997, they were married, surrounded by the warmth of family and tradition. Together, they built a beautiful life rooted in love, devotion, and resilience. Raising their three daughters was one of Lam’s greatest joys - each moment spent together brought laughter, pride, and countless cherished memories.
Lâm was the founder and CEO of Xinh Lâm Company, through which he brought to life two beloved staples of Saigon’s early 2000s culture: Cà Phê Chợt Nhớ and Xinh Fashion. His café became a nostalgic and cherished retreat for many, offering a peaceful space for everyone - from artists and students to families and friends - to gather, reflect, and connect. His fashion brand offered a fresh and modern expression of Vietnamese style that resonated deeply with the city’s youth. Through his work, Lâm not only built successful businesses but also created spaces that left a lasting impression on the Saigon community.
Lâm was a gifted artist and designer, with a deep passion for creating and building beautiful homes, known for his exceptional attention to detail. He loved creating functional and aesthetically pleasing spaces, from kitchens and bedrooms to landscapes and fences. His work was a true reflection of his creativity, craftsmanship, and dedication to beauty and perfection.
Lâm is survived by his loving wife, Thao Nguyen, of Frisco, Texas; his daughters, Thu Lê, Trist Nghi Lê, and Tu Nghi Lê, all of Frisco, Texas; his mother, Lien Tran; and his sisters, Ý Lan Lê (husband, Johnny) and Ý Linh Lê (husband, Michael), all of Prosper, Texas. He is also remembered fondly by a large circle of extended family and friends, whose lives were touched by his kindness, warmth, and generosity.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, May 12, 2025, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013. The service will also be live streamed at the following link: https://celebrationoflife.tv/blog/lam-hoang-le. After the service, the recorded live stream will be available for viewing at the same link location. Following the funeral, a procession will make its way to Ridgeview Crematory for Ceremonial Cremation.
The family will receive guests during a visitation from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 11, 2025, at the funeral home.
