Kristin Lorene Holman, 45, of Allen, Texas, passed away on December 21, 2024, surrounded by the love of her family after a courageous battle with multiple myeloma.
Kristin was born on November 6, 1979, in Chowchilla, California, to James Kevin and Terri Lorraine (Hunt) Dewall. She graduated from Chowchilla High School, Class of 1997, and went on to attend Fresno State University, before earning her degree from National University’s online campus.
Kristin dedicated many years to her career as a dental hygienist before transitioning to the financial industry. After moving to Texas, she began working for Citibank, where she met her husband, Dan. They married on June 28, 2008, in San Antonio, Texas, and shared a beautiful life together. Kristin’s professional journey continued as she became the Regional Manager of State National Bank before relocating to Allen in 2015.
Kristin’s life was centered around love, and her family was her greatest joy. She poured her heart into raising her three children and grandson, creating a home filled with warmth, laughter, and unconditional love. She found immense pride and happiness in watching her family grow and thrive.
Kristin also lived life to the fullest, embracing her many passions. She was an exceptional cook, a talented crafter, and a skilled decorator who transformed her home with beauty and care for every season. Her favorite place in the world was the beach, where she found peace with her feet in the sand, snorkeling among vibrant reefs, and listening to the soothing rhythm of the waves. An avid sports fan, Kristin cheered for the Dallas Mavericks and Kansas City Chiefs with pride. She enjoyed long walks, country music, and off-road adventures in her beloved Jeep. Her life was a testament to finding joy in the simple moments and sharing that joy with others.
Kristin is survived by her loving husband, Dan Holman of Allen, Texas; her children, Lillyanna “Lilly” Isabelle Petitt and her partner, Gilbert, of Venus, Texas, Jaxson Daniel Holman of Allen, Texas, and Charlotte “Charli” Jane Holman of Allen, Texas; her grandson, Jaden James Holman; her mother, Terri Lorraine Bayer and husband, Kenneth, of Allen, Texas; her brothers, Kyle Bayer and his wife, Lexy, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Keith Bayer and his fiancée, Christine, of Tacoma, Washington. She is also survived by a host of family members, friends, and loved ones who were blessed to know her.
She was preceded in death by her father, James Dewall.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 28, 2024 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013. The service will also be live streamed at the following link: https://celebrationoflife.tv/blog/kristin-holman.
