Kristen AaShli Jackson, age 29, of Rowlett, Texas, passed away February 29, 2024. Kristen was born March 3, 1994, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Jacob and TeRee’ (Davis) Jackson.
At an early age Kristen had a relationship with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and loved giving of herself to love God’s people.
From the first day Kristen AaShli laid eyes on her daddy, she was a daddy’s girl! She loved hosting “tea parties” for her daddy, as well as dressing up in a special dress for Daddy Daughter dances, which always included a bouquet of flowers.
Being the official Girl Scout dad, Jacob adored his little “Moo Moo,” equally the same. After shampooing and conditioning Kristen’s hair and soaking her hair and face in baby oil, Jacob loved to braid Kristen’s hair and style it in his famous, “Pippi Longstocking” braids.
According to her cousin Alanna, Kristen was full of life and loved to dance, so for Kristen, cheerleading came naturally. Starting at the age of six. Kristen did competitive cheer until high school and was a Zumba instructor and Jazz dance teacher. Kristen’s sarcasm lit up every room with laughter. She loved imitating her Memaw, cousins, brothers and friends with funny stories, told with expressions, only she could make. Spending time with her mom was a joy for Kristen, as she would introduce her mom to new vegetarian foods, bands, funny, snuggle, worthy movies with popcorn, hot sauce, and lemon black pepper. Blue Raspberry Slurpee’s, movies, and picking vegetables from the garden to cook were some of the quality pass times that Kristen and her stepdad, Bruce, loved to share. Kristen was overjoyed to hear of the wedding of her step sister, Marissa, and soon to be step brother, Chad, as well as her cousin Bri and soon to be cousin Gabe, and looked forward to attending.
Her love for family time was evident through her giving heart and relationships with her Pawpaw, brothers, stepdad Bruce, aunts, uncles, special friends, and her best friend Anne. From laughing with her brothers, JoShua and Brendan about childhood memories in the Jackson Household, to doing flips on the trampoline with her cousins Cameron and Bri, the “sillies” were always present in stories with Kristen. She loved to dress with her lashes and make-up for social times like traveling, camping, concerts, and holiday parties.
During a college visit, Kristen, Alanna, and Anne went to a concert to see, “A Wall Nation,” and even met the lead singer, Aaron backstage. Kristen loved animals, like her dog, Naiya, bird named Blessing, and her cats, Slash and Axel, which she considered them her babies.
