Kinnard Curtis, age 77, of Frisco, Texas, passed away on March 11, 2021. Kinnard was born in Mt. Pleasant, Texas, on October 15, 1943, to Kurt and Udell Ellis (Cooper) Curtis. He was self-employed in the transportation industry. Kinnard married Madeline Hatcher on December 15, 1983, in Dallas, Texas. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all those who knew him.
Kinnard is survived by his wife, Madeline Curtis; children, Kinnard Curtis Jr. and wife, Tori, of Dallas, Bernard Curtis and wife, Lauren, of Aubrey, Brenda Alexis and husband, Robert, of Dallas, Katavious Hodge of Austin, Yolanda Curtis also of Austin, Sekedria Brown of Dallas, and Tara Hooker and husband, Louis, also of Dallas; grandchildren, Brooklyn Curtis, Carson Thomas Curtis, Xierra Alexis, Ivory Quinn Alexis, Girad Hodge, Jasmine Hodge, Chazmon Curtis, Kasca Lee, Kelsey Lee, Kacee Lee, Janai Jackson, Jamarious Davis, Anthony Bullard, Milton Bullard, III, and Rotranette Thompson; great-grandchildren, Ava Vanzandt, Kyn’tera Lee, K Shawn Lee, Camille Lee, Messiah Lee, Journie Bullard, Prynce Bullard, and Aaron Thompson; brother, David Curtis of Mt. Pleasant, Texas; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Kurt and Udell Curtis, and sister, Doris Holmes.
The family will receive friends during a visitation from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m., Saturday, March 20, 2021, at Berkshire Chapel, 9073 Berkshire Dr., Frisco, Texas, 75034.
