Kimberly Lynn Seymour, age 46, of Dallas, Texas, passed away January 3, 2016. Kim was born December 13, 1969, in Monroe, Louisiana, to Larry Seymour and Ella (Thompson) Lutrick. Kim graduated with her Bachelor's degree from the University of Texas at Dallas in Accounting and a double Masters from Clemson University and the University of South Carolina with degrees from both in Public Administration. She loved to read and was active in politics, the LGBT and the SPCA. Kim loved her cats, Parker and Kate but above all else, she loved her daughter and grandsons. She can now rest in peace with her godson and nephew, Jordon Fitzpatrick.
She is survived by her daughter, Maggie Schmitt and husband, Collins of Dallas, Texas; grandchildren, Quinn Harper Schmitt and Harley Jordon Schmitt; mother, Ella Lutrick and husband, Warren of Plano, Texas; father, Larry Seymour and wife, Lisa of Start, Louisiana; grandmother, O’Reese Lutrick; sisters, Jennifer Seymour of Plano, Texas; Samantha Hughey and husband, Nate of Royse City, Texas; Mallory Seymour Middleton and husband, Shane of Start, Louisiana; brother, Brandon Lutrick of Dallas, Texas; nieces and nephews, Hayley Franz and Dean Vaz of Royse City, Texas; Taylor Fitzpatrick-Martin and husband, Garrett of Dallas, Texas; Kirsten Clem of Plano, Texas great-nephews, Liam Martin of Dallas, Texas; Micah Middleton of Start, Louisiana.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Davis Lutrick, Jordan and Essie Seymour, and Eloise and Ernest Thompson, and godson and nephew, Jordon Fitzpatrick.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00 Noon, Friday, January 8, 2016, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in Allen, Texas. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen. The family will receive friends during a visitation from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Thursday evening at the funeral home.
