Kim Bolin of Allen, Texas, passed away on February 11, 2025 at the age of 63. Born in Dallas, Texas, on September 27, 1961, to her loving parents, Richard Carroll Wren and Penny Ann Wren, Kim was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.

On May 29, 1982, she married, Benny Bolin at Lake Lavon Baptist Encampment, and together they built a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. A proud graduate of Garland High School, Kim enjoyed spending time with family and friends, sharing her passion for bunco, bowling, diamond art, watching game shows, and cheering on the Mavericks. However, nothing brought her more joy than being Mimi to Olivia, who was the light of her life and Ellie, her grand-dog.

Kim was a woman of faith and a member of Allen Heights Baptist Church, where she found comfort and community. She will be remembered for her kind heart, infectious laughter, and unwavering love for those she held dear.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Benny Bolin; son, Brandon Bolin, and his wife, Victoria, of Aubrey, Texas; precious granddaughter, Olivia Jo; sister, Debbie Wren, and her husband, Johnny Downs, of Caddo Mills, Texas; brother-in-law, Bobby Bolin, and his wife, Betty, of Allen, Texas; niece, Erica Weseman; nephew, Jerad Bolin; and numerous other loving family members and dear friends.

Kim was preceded in death by her parents.

A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, February 15, 2025 at Allen Heights Baptist Church, 1309 East Main Street, Allen, Texas 75002. The service will also be live streamed on the Allen Heights Baptist Church Facebook Page.  Interment will be held at Rowlett Creek Cemetery following the service.

The family will receive friends during a visitation on Thursday evening from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013.
