Kiley Michele (Pahdoco) Taft of Melissa, Texas passed away on October 17, 2018 at the age of 46. She was born on October 13, 1972 to James Albert and Patricia Lynn (Graves) Pahdoco in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Kiley grew up in Oklahoma City, McAlester, and Broken Arrow, graduating from High School at Tulsa Union High School in 1990. She attended Ozark Christian College in Joplin, Missouri where she was a part of the Impact Brass and Singers. Kiley married Timothy Giles Taft on June 4, 1994 in Rockville, Maryland at the church where they first met on Mother’s Day in 1993. There were two things in life that she wanted to do, to be a mom and to sing, and she did both very well. She adored her three sons and her daughter-in-law. She loved them more than words can express.
Kiley is survived by her loving husband of 24 years, Timothy Taft of Melissa, Texas; sons, Caleb Timothy Taft and wife, Sonja Verena of Edmond, Oklahoma, Matthew Michael Taft of Melissa, Texas, and Jonathan Joseph Taft of Melissa, Texas; parents, Jim Pahdoco and wife, Linda of Moore, Oklahoma and Lynn Pahdoco of Edmond, Oklahoma; sister, Jaime Blackshear and husband, Dan of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and a host of other loving family members and friends.
She was preceded by her son, Connor Taft and her grandparents.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at High Pointe Church of Christ, 3201 North Central Expressway, McKinney, Texas 75071. The family will receive friends during visitation Tuesday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013.
The family requests Memorial Gifts be given to the Ozark Christian College Music Department. Gifts can be left with the Funeral Home or sent to Ozark Christian College, Music Department, 1111 N. Main, Joplin, MO 64801 in memory of Kiley Pahdoco Taft.
