Kevin Michael Loun was born June 2, 1962 in Kansas City, Kansas to Larry Gean Loun and Rose Mary Ann Hoegler Loun. He passed away on April 7, 2021 at his home in Whitewright, Texas at the age of 58 years.

Kevin was active in Little League from T-Ball all the way through high school. He graduated from high school in Blue Springs, Missouri. After high school he served his nation in the U.S. Marine Corp with good conduct and marksmanship medals. After his service he worked as a concrete machine operator and finisher in the Kansas City, Missouri and Dallas, Texas areas. Most recently he was serving on the Executive Board of Commission at the American Legion Post 283 in Bonham, Texas. He was a Catholic.

He is survived by his son, Kelly Michael Loun of Blue Ridge; daughter, Crystal Rose Marks of British Columbia, Canada; 7 grandchildren; mother, Rose Mary Branson of Whitewright; sister, Kimberly Michelle Loun of Madison, Wisconsin. He was preceded in death by his father; and his brother, Mark Loun.

Memorial services will be held at a later date at St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church, Bonham, Texas. He will be inurned at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery along with his brother Mark at a later date.
