Kevin Beckwith, age 30, of Dallas, Texas passed away August 29, 2007, in Dallas. He was born January 31, 1977, in Rochester, NY, to Wayne Allen and Nancy Jeanne (Becker) Beckwith. Kevin was an assistant office manager for We Bid Furniture, an office supply company. . He is survived by his mother, Nancy Beckwith of Little, Elm; brother, Eric Beckwith of Plano; sister, Carrie Beckwith of Little Elm; grandmother, Pauline Shaheen of Rochester, NY; niece, Madison Shew of Little Elm; aunts and uncles, Linda and Ken Nelson of Pittsford, NY, Linda and Michael Pepper of Pittsford, NY, David Shaheen of Oakfield, NY, Dana and Jim Freeman of Mendon, NY, and Susan and Tim Lipman of Oakland, CA; and numerous other loving family and friends. Preceding him in death were his father; uncle Garry Beckwith; and his grandparents. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM, Wednesday, September 5, 2007 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Tuesday evening beginning at 6:00 PM. Nancy and family, I am so sorry for your loss. I didn't know Kevin, but his Mom and I talked together many times about how Kevin was doing. In time, all of this will become bearable, but not right now. My hopes, prayers and heartfelt good wishes are with you all. I remember all the days Kevin, Shane, Derrick, Moody, Tommy, and I enjoyed playing baseball or football from sun up until the street lights came on.
