Keri Annette Brigdon Markham of Allen, Texas passed away on November 21, 2020 at the age of 44. She was born on May 6, 1976 to James Michael and Emma Jane (Adams) Brigdon in Dallas, Texas. Keri married Dondi Markham on September 25, 1999 in Irving, Texas. She worked as a certified legal secretary and paralegal before deciding to become a full time homemaker upon the birth of her first son. Keri spent her life selflessly caring for others. She volunteered in the Preschool and Special Needs Children’s Ministries, and was a former MOPS Discussion Group Co-Leader at The Heights Baptist Church in Richardson, Texas where she was a longstanding member, volunteered with Meals on Wheels with her son Austin, and served as a caregiver for a family facing medical challenges, bringing glory to her Lord Jesus Christ in all she did.
She is survived by her husband, Dondi Markham; children, Austin Markham, Cooper Markham, Joshua Markham, Ryan Markham; grandchildren, Cayden and Benjamin Markham; parents, Jim and Emma Jane Brigdon of McKinney, Texas; brother, David Scott Brigdon and wife, Tiffany of McKinney, Texas; sister, Tammie Willingham and husband, Jeff of Fort Worth, Texas; niece and nephews, and numerous other loving family and friends.
A “come and go” visitation will be held on Monday, November 23, 2020, from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas. Only a limited number of guests will be allowed to enter the funeral home facility at any one time to maintain social distancing.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at The Heights Baptist Church in Richardson, Texas. Interment will follow at Ridgeview West Memorial Park in Frisco, Texas.
The family suggests memorial donations be made to The Heights Baptist Church in Keri’s honor.
