Kenneth "Kenny" W. Carter

November 10, 1958 - January 4, 2019

Kenneth W. Carter of Frisco, Texas, passed away on January 4, 2019, at the age of 60.  He was born on November 10, 1958 to Johnnie and Dorothy (Waller) Carter in McKinney, Texas.

Kenny is survived by his children, Stephanie Mowry and husband, Michael of Van Alstyne, Texas, Nicholas Alan Carter of Cross Roads, Texas, Krystle Nichole Carter of Van Alstyne, Texas, and Ashley Portillo and husband, Oscar of McKinney, Texas; seven grandchildren, Aydin, Raelynn, Jaxon, Izaiah, Ariah, Carter, and Brooklyn; brother, Kevin Carter and wife, Barbara of Prosper, Texas; sister, Patti Carter Lynn; and many other loving family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Johnnie and Dorothy Carter and sister, Carolyn Bonner.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 11, 2019, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 2525 North Central Expressway, Allen, Texas 75013. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen, Texas.  The family will receive friends during a visitation on Thursday evening from 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., at the funeral home.
