Kenneth Ryan Fleming

Kenneth Ryan Fleming, age 38, of Plano, Texas, passed away on March 22, 2022. He was born January 22, 1984 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  

Ryan was a 2002 graduate of Cave Spring High School in Roanoke, Virginia.  He earned his bachelor's degree in Nanofabrication Manufacturing Technology from Penn State University in 2006.  Ryan married YuYu “Jade” Liang on March 15, 2021 in Collin County. He loved the outdoors, especially hiking, biking, fishing, and camping.  Ryan enjoyed activities with his dogs, telling jokes and storytelling.  He was a fan of sports and extremely fond of the Texas Rangers, FC Dallas, Dallas Mavericks, Oklahoma University Football, and the Dallas Cowboys.  Ryan also had a passion for Disc Golf, but the Love of His Life was Jade.  He was a loving husband, son, brother, uncle, and friend.  Ryan was loved by all who knew him and will be missed dearly.

He is survived by his wife, Yuyu “Jade” Liang of Plano, Texas; parents, Lorene Starns and husband, Randy of McKinney, Texas better known as Nan and Pappy; grandmother, LaVeta Starns of Lyons, Kansas; sister, Carly Austin and children, Cassondra and Jaiden, of McKinney, Texas; brothers, Dillon Starns and wife, Anastassiya of Allen, Texas; Eric Starns and wife, Shelby of Edmond, Oklahoma; Scott Starns and wife, Susan of Edmond, Oklahoma; Kelley Fleming of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Kristy Fleming of Norman, Oklahoma; and Katy Fleming of Tulsa, Oklahoma; uncles and aunts, Monty Kelly and wife, Cheryl of Brookfield, Connecticut; Dave Johnson of Lindenhurst, New York; Brian Starns of Lyons, Kansas; Melissa Clarke and husband, Chris of Lyons, Kansas; Susan Major and husband, Richard of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; his precious dogs Bulleye and Arrow, and numerous much loved nieces, nephews, cousins, treasured friends and dear co-workers.

Ryan was preceded in death by his grandparents, Anita and Frank Kelly; Elaine Fleming, Ken Fleming; aunt Donna Johnson; uncle, David Starns; brother-in-law, Aaron Austin and father, Kenneth R. Fleming.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, March 28, 2022 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow in Allen, Texas.  The service will also be live streamed at TJMfuneral.com on Kenneth’s obituary page by clicking on the following link: https://celebrationoflife.tv/blog/kenneth-ryan-fleming.  After the service, the recorded live stream will be available for viewing at the same link location.  Following the service, a procession will make its way to the Garden Pavilion at Ridgeview Memorial Park for a committal service.

The family will receive friends during a visitation being held from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., Sunday, March 27, 2022 at the funeral home.
