Kenneth Robert Hawk, age 86, of Hoschton, Georgia, passed away on Monday, October 10, 2022. He was born in Chicago, Illinois, on June 1, 1936, to Alberta Suzanne (Halverson) and Robert A. Hawk. Kenneth proudly served his country in the National Guard and had a successful career as a salesman for 3M Company. He married the love of his life, Dorothy, on August 17, 1957, in Chicago, Illinois, and they were blessed with four children. Kenneth enjoyed singing, camping, playing the harmonica, and especially spending time with family. He was a wonderful husband, father, son, grandfather, and friend to many. Kenneth was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all those who knew him.

daughter, Margaret “Peggy” Giese and her husband, Carl, of Montgomery, Texas; his grandchildren, Christina (Stephen, HFD, Capt. ret.) Herzog, Erin (Jerry, Capt. US Army) Roland, CareyLynn (Michael II, US Army ret.) Ryan, Carl (RuthAnne) Giese Jr., NellieMae (Andrew) Haynes, Shane (Meagan) Giese, Katherine Giese, and Scott Giese; and his great-grandchildren, Martin, Amellia, Izabella, Elaina, James, Lydia, Augustus, Marilla, Sonora, Theodore, Jasper, Silas, Orianna, Eliza, Elizabeth “Piper”, Julie, Jared, Callie, and baby due in March 2023;
daughter, Suzanne Cox and her husband, Larry, of Hoschton, Georgia; his grandchildren, Bryan (Crystal) Cox, Bradley E5 USCG (Bridgette) Cox, Branden 1st Lt. US Army, and Elizabeth (David) Strabala; and his great-grandchildren, Haley, Lily, Bryson, Vivienne, Calvin, Drake, Gavin, and Kayleigh;
son, Kenneth Hawk II and his wife, Denise, of Tyler, Texas; and his grandchildren, Kenneth Hawk III, Emily Hawk, Matthew Hawk, Cassidy Hawk, and Asheley Hawk;
son, Daniel R. Hawk and his wife, Sara, of Frisco, Texas; and his grandchildren, Daniel (Edie) Hawk Jr., Gunter Hawk, and Jackson Hawk.
He is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 63 years, Dorothy R. Hawk.
The family invites you to a Visitation at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow, 8520 Main Street, Frisco, Texas, on Friday, October 28, 2022, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral Service is Saturday, October 29, 2022, at 2:00 p.m., at Messiah Lutheran Church, 1801 W. Plano Pkwy., Plano, Texas, officiated by Dr. Victor J. Kollmann. Interment follows at Ridgeview Memorial Park, 2525 Central Expwy. N., Allen, Texas.
