Kenneth Lee McKee of Plano, Texas passed away May 24, 2016 at the age of 82. He was born November 16, 1933 to Garland Yarrow and Myrtis (Evans) Yarrow in Pasadena, California. Kenneth grew up in California and Florida before moving to Texas in 1971. He served his country proudly in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. Kenneth married Charlotte Fay Simmons on July 21, 1958 in St. Petersburg, Florida. He worked in sales for W.H. Brady Company for thirty-five years until his retirement. Kenneth was a member of the Barbershop Harmony Society, Vocal Majority, and Grace Presbyterian Church in Plano. He taught Bible study in churches and led mens Bible studies in Florida and Texas. Kenneth was an avid reader.
He is survived by his wife, Charlotte McKee; children, Kenneth P. McKee “Kit” and wife, Patti of Allen, Texas, Paul C. McKee “Chris” and wife Caron of Anchorage, Alaska; and grandchildren, Shannon McKee and Ryan McKee.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial service will be held 3:00 p.m., Friday, June 17, 2016 at Grace Presbyterian Church in Plano, Texas
