It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the peaceful passing of Kenneth E. McClain, on September 16, 2020 at the age of 76 years. He was born June 6, 1944 to the late Edward and Ethel (Cook) McClain.
Ken will be lovingly remembered by his wife of nearly 55 years, Patricia McClain; daughter Cynthia McClain; son Greg McClain and wife Cara; and grandchildren Jared, Jake, Mikayla and Avery as well as numerous other loving relatives and friends.
Ken loved to travel. Exploring new sites and cities was a favorite pastime. As the years continued, the ability to travel decreased and he became an avid reader.
Ken retired from JC Penney after 29 years, then continued his successful career with Sykes Enterprises. During his career, he and his family had the opportunity to live in Georgia, New Jersey, Florida, Oregon and Colorado making friends along the way. With his wife, Ken moved to McKinney Texas upon retiring, to be near their children and grandchildren. Ken treasured his family and embraced every moment with them. He especially loved his role as Poppa to his grandchildren.
Due to COVID 19 there will not be a viewing and only a small private family service will be held.
