Kenneth Earl Burnham, age 62, of Allen, Texas passed away June 15, 2007 in Cozumel, Mexico. He was born September 30, 1944, in Cottonwood, Alabama, to Thomas Bulger and Rubean (Fears) Burnham. Kenneth grew up in Alabama and Columbus, Georgia. He earned his BBA from Georgia State University in 1974. He served his country in the US Navy serving aboard the USS Intrepid. On June 21, 1997, he married Dr. Linda Parker in Allen, Texas. Kenneth was employed by Bank of America as an IT Specialist. He was an avid bowler and diver. He loved water and he loved life. He is survived by his wife, Dr. Linda Parker; children, Susan Burnham Cardin and her husband Michael of Athens, GA, Kenneth Steven Burnham and his wife Kate of Seattle, WA, Joshua Thomas Burnham of Allen, TX, Megan Ashley Parker of Allen, TX, Marshall Joseph Parker of Dallas, TX and Michelle Leigh Parker of McKinney, TX; mother, Rubean Burnham of Columbus, GA, grandchildren, Zachary and Harris Cardin of Athens, GA; brothers, Jerry Burnham of Columbus, GA and Jimmy Burnham of Lawrenceville, GA; sister, Ruthel Van Amburg of Prattsburg, NY; and a host of other family and friends. His father preceded him in death. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon, Saturday, June 23, 2007, at First United Methodist Church in Allen, TX with Rev. Brian McPherson officiating. Interment will follow at Bluebonnet Hills Cemetery in Colleyville, TX. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Friday evening beginning at 7:00 PM at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home. A reception will be held, Saturday at 6:00 p.m. Memorials may be made to Allen Community Outreach, 801 E. Main Street, Allen, TX 75002, www.acocares.org or www.send-hope.org.
