I wish I had a chance to visit with him sooner. My love for him and all your family will be never ending. Even though I haven't seen him for years, I will miss him deeply. My love to all the Bolins, God bless you and keep you safe. Gary R Lowman , January 19, 2014 We were so sorry to hear of the passing of Ken Please know that we are thinking of you all a dn that you are in our prayers Betty Lowman, Mike & Claudia Lowman, Gary & Karen Lowman, Lee & Janna Cobb, and Carol & James McQuagge Janna Lowman Cobb, January 19, 2014 To the Bolin family: I want you to know that like many other young people in the community of Allen, Mr. Bolin had a real impact on my life. He stood out as a leader, a mentor and actually, he was just kinda cool. The youth of my generation from Allen (and probably others) can say that he truly set an example for what a Christian husband, father, brother and citizen should be. He definitely had an impact on my faith journey as a youth which has carried me through these many years. I am so pleased to have had both he and Mrs. Bolin as examples as I grew up. When I saw him in September, he remembered me and as far as I am concerned, he still looked the very same. My prayers are with you all as you make this transition. Loosing a parent, as you know, is difficult, especially one like I am sure Mr. Bolin was. God bless you all and I will remember you and pray for you every day for many weeks to come Arlene Powell, January 18, 2014 We are so sorry to hear of Mr. Bolin's passing. He was a great inspiration to all the kids at Bolin Elementary. He was a very kind and generous man. Jim & Beck Prindle, January 17, 2014 We are so sorry for your loss and rejoicing too, in his homecoming. Asking God's blessing and comfort for each of you. Because of illness, we cannot be with you but know you are in our hearts. Tom, Ellen, Janae, Jason Salmon, January 17, 2014 Benny and family, I did not know your father, but it is obvious when reading about him that he was a pillar in the community. It is easy to see his influence on you, Benny, as you carry on his legacy of volunteer work in community service. May the Lord bless you with unimaginable comfort and peace as you grieve the physical loss of your father and, yet, celebrate his home-going. Robin Draper, January 17, 2014 What a blessing to have the support of Mr. Bolin on your team! He would often drop in for information on what the children were involved in music classes and would be the first to volunteer to help make "it" happen. Mr. Bolin was "the real Santa Claus" to Bolin's children through many Christmas performances. He even insisted on purchasing Santa's attire - complete with a jolly "Ho, Ho, Ho, and "lots & lots of costume stuffing" and treats to dispense to all whether they "were bad or good." I even gave him lines one year & even though he felt a bit uncomfortable delivering "lines", he never complained to me, but got them down & out on cue. Thank you to the family for sharing Mr. Bolin with us. Pat (ricia) Ann Jinks, January 17, 2014 We will miss your great smile & active interest here at Bolin Elementary! Thank you for sharing so generously with our students & our faculty. We are blessed to have had you among us. To the family, we will be lifting you up to the Father as you celebrate the life of a loved one so precious and say goodbye for a while. Paula Till, January 16, 2014 Jo, Bobby and Benny, I am so sorry for the loss of your father. He was w wonderful man and I am proud to say that he was my line cal partner at Rockwell/Alcatel. We sure had a lot of laughs together. I will NEVER forget him. God Bless you all, Sheryl (Ferguson) Shue, January 15, 2014
