Kenneth Eugene Blackburn

September 21, 1942 - April 13, 2015

Kenneth “Ken” E. Blackburn, age 72, of Celina, Texas, passed away on April 13, 2015 in Dallas.  He was born on September 21, 1942 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania to Ruth Helen (Jacobs) and Randall Eugene Blackburn.

Ken worked as Sales Manager for the electrical industry.

Ken is survived by his wife of 54 years , Shirley (Estright) Blackburn of Celina; daughters, Lorraine Ehret of Celina, Charlotte Ruffle and husband Michael of Celina, Jeannette Ezell and husband Sherman of Riverbank, California; grandchildren, Brett Ehret and wife, Britany, Nicole Martin and husband, Dane, Renee Jones and husband, Dirk, Tyler Ruffle, Shaun Ehret, Erika Ruffle, Courtney Ezell, Yvonne Ezell, Kenny Ezell; great-grandchildren, Tinsley Ehret, Caleb Martin, Major Jones,  Colten Martin, Graham Jones ; sisters, Sandy Goss of Carisle, Pennsylvania, Toni Graves and husband Eric of Hershey, Pennsylvania; brothers, George Blackburn and wife Betty of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, Steven Blackburn and wife Olga of Omaha, Nebraska; several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Ruth and Randall Blackburn; son, Joseph David Blackburn; daughter, Yvonne Elizabeth Blackburn; grandson, Timothy David Ruffle.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 15, 2015 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Celina, Texas.  Interment will be at East Harrisburg Cemetery in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to the Preston Trails Rotary Club, Celina, Tx.,  Mt. Camp Lou San, Harrisburg, Pa, or The Boys and Girls Club of Harrisburg, Pa.
