Kendra graduated from Lincoln High School in 1986. She continued her education at Southeast Community College and earned her degree in University Studies with German and Art Education emphasis from the University of New Mexico in 1995. She was an avid life-long learner, loved to read, and enjoyed translating German language books to English. She had just completed translation from German to English the book Der Heiland (“Our Saviour” in English). She also loved pottery and spent time in Japan studying Japanese porcelain and pottery techniques. But, her children and grandchildren were her greatest joy.

For several years, Kendra was a managing partner at Vintage Ink Tattoo shop in Clearwater Florida. At Texas Elite Advisory, Kendra  worked in marketing and sales where she especially enjoyed graphic arts and editing. As a member of St. Matthew Evangelical Lutheran Church, she enjoyed bible study, church activities, and was close to many church members.

Kendra battled brain tumors for more than 15 years,  which caused intermittent seizures and eventually caused blindness in her right eye. She fought hard and survived several invasive operations and treatments during this time. She was ready to continue the battle when the good Lord called her home during her final seizure.
