Keith Rudy Mueller of Blue Ridge, Texas passed away on December 30, 2019 at the age of 80. He was born on March 23, 1939 to Rudolph Karl Mueller and Irma Emily (Eilers) Mueller in Chester, Illinois. Keith moved to Texas when he was 13 years old. He attended Woodrow Wilson High School in Dallas, Texas. Keith married Kathryn Ann (Morton) Mueller on January 21, 1960 in Dallas. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy and was honorably discharged and retired on January 1, 1964 because he was run over by an airplane. Keith owned and operated North Texas Porcelain Repair from 1989 until his retirement in 2013. He coached soccer for many years for the Richardson Soccer Association and was lovingly called Coach Teddy Bear. Keith spent many years helping with the Blue Ridge Riding Club and Drill Team. Keith and Kay enjoyed riding motorcycles and camping through 37 states. Most of all he enjoyed taking care of his wife, children and family.
Keith is survived by his wife, Kay Mueller of Blue Ridge; sons, Keith O. Mueller and wife, Marcia of Richardson, Texas and Kyle D. Mueller of Richardson; daughter, Kristi Lynn Spratt and husband, Rick of Blue Ridge; grandchildren, Keith Owen Mueller, Jr. and wife Samantha, Kaydee Renee Mueller and husband, Tim Ferriter, Misty Fenner and husband, Kyle, Lucas Spratt and wife, Danyelle and Megan Spratt; great-grandaughters, Lilah Fenner and Norah Mueller; brothers, Richard Mueller and wife, Barbara, Gregory Mueller and wife, Debbie and Bruce Mueller; sister, Patricia Wingate and husband, Bob; several nieces, nephews and a host of other loving family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Rudolph Mueller and Irma Miller.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 4, 2020 at Our Savior Lutheran Church, 2708 Virginia Parkway, McKinney, Texas 75071. Interment will follow at Blue Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Friday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the church.
