Kathy Rochelle Berry-Ellis of McKinney, Texas passed away on September 14, 2019 at the age of 57. She was born on February 20, 1962 to Billy Earl Berry and Dorothy Leota (Johnson) Berry in McKinney, Texas. Kathy graduated from McKinney High School with the class of 1980. She was a member of the St. Mark Baptist Church in McKinney.

Kathy is survived by her mother, Dorothy “Cookie” Berry; sister, Karen Denise Berry-Holley and husband, James; great-nephews, Nylan Reddic and Chase Fagan; aunts, Zeta Faye White, Madeline Newman, Betty Hollins, and Louise Berry all of McKinney, Texas; uncle, Thurman Berry of Fort Worth, Texas; and a host of cousins and numerous other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her father, Billy Earl Berry; sister, Sharon Deloris Berry; grandparents, Johnnie and Claudia Johnson, and Earl and Eleanor Berry.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, September 20, 2019 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas. Pastor Charles Wattley will be officiating the service. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Thursday evening from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
