Kathy McCoy, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on November 27, 2024, at the age of 72. She was born on November 25, 1952, in Detroit, Michigan, to Earl Eugene McCoy and Margaret Ann (Roulston) McCoy.
Kathy’s career as a loan officer in the real estate industry spanned many years, where she worked with dedication and care, forming lasting relationships with colleagues and clients alike.
A woman of Christian faith, Kathy was a member of Gateway Church in Wylie, Texas. She found great joy in her church family and the community it provided. Kathy will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her children, Jason Sterle, Justin Sterle of Princeton, Texas and Amber Wesloski and husband, Jacob of Fort Worth, Texas; grandchildren, Madelyn, Julian, Isabella, Olivia, Jacob Ryan, Leland, and Asher; brothers, Donald McCoy and wife, Rachel of Michigan and David McCoy of Kentucky; sister, Diane Embry of Michigan; and numerous other loving family members and friends.
Kathy was preceded in death by her parents.
The family will receive friends during a visitation on Wednesday afternoon, December 4, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013.
