Kathryn Small Francis, age 86, passed away on July 10, 2016 in Farmersville, Texas. She was born September 14, 1929 in Clinton, North Carolina to Ernest Marshall and Foy Evelyn Cashwell Sewell. Francis was a sales associate for Dillard’s. She married John Arthur Francis on May 29, 1949 in Bennettsville, South Carolina. She was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by; son, John Francis and wife Lisa of Princeton, Texas, grandchildren, John A. Francis of Red Oak, Texas, Janell Francis of Princeton, Texas, Katelyn Francis of San Antonio, Texas, Kaley Baker of Frisco, Texas, Aaron Baker of Fate, Texas, sister, Alice Sewell.
She was preceded in death by her husband, brother, Ernest Sewell and sister, Edna Brown.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 14, 2016 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Hurst’s Fielder Baker Funeral Home, 107 N. Washington Street, Farmersville, Texas. Funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. Bro. Chad Rowell will officiate. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen, Texas.
