Kathryn Diane Logsdon of Fairview, Texas passed away on February 4, 2026, at the age of 74. She was born on May 29, 1951 to Eugene Kruse and Priscilla (Beckler) Kruse in Twin Falls, Idaho. Kathryn lived a life filled with love, laughter, and unwavering dedication to her family and faith.

After earning her bachelor’s degree from Concordia Teachers College, Kathryn embarked on a fulfilling career in education, teaching in Florida and Peoria, Illinois, before leaving a lasting impact as a teacher at Faith Lutheran Church School for many years. Her students cherished her nurturing spirit and passion for learning, and she found joy in guiding them down their own paths of discovery.

In the heart of her beautiful journey, Kathryn married the love of her life, Ken Logsdon, on December 31, 1982, in Peoria, Illinois. Together, they created a warm and welcoming home that radiated love and cherished moments. Kathryn’s warmth and kindness were felt by all who entered.

She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend.  Kathryn will be missed dearly by her family and friends, who were fortunate enough to know and love her. Her spirit will live on in the stories shared and the love exchanged with those whose lives she touched.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Ken Logsdon of Fairview, Texas; sons, Kyle Logsdon and wife, Anna, Nick Logsdon and wife, Dana, Zack Logsdon, Chad Logsdon, and Shane Logsdon and wife, Cheryl; grandchildren, Kaylie, Avery, Chase, Hudson, and Audrey; and numerous other loving family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, February 14, 2026 at Faith Lutheran Church, 1701 East Park Boulevard, Plano, Texas 75074.

The family will receive friends during two visitations: first on Friday evening from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013 and the second on Saturday, February 14, 2026 from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at the church.

Memorial contributions may be made in Kathryn’s memory to Faith Lutheran School.
