On Friday, October 28, 2022, Kathryn Ann Koehler (Wynne), loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend passed away at the age of seventy-two. She was born to Alva L. Wynne and Eileen M. Wynne (Schadegg) on June 22, 1950 in Crawford, Nebraska.
Kathy married Frank Koehler on November 25, 1992 in Lewisville, Texas. She had long and successful careers with GTE Corporation and Frontier Communications. She loved snow skiing, water skiing, golfing, reading, crafting, sewing, and spending time with her grandchildren. Kathy was generous, an encourager, loyal, selfless, and funny. Nobody will ever forget that beautiful smile.
Kathy is survived by her husband Frank of McKinney, Texas; daughter, Tammy L. Hofmeister (Bernd) of Frisco, Texas; daughter, Michelle A. Nolan of Simpsonville, South Carolina; stepson, Ronald F. Koehler (Brenda) of Midlothian, Texas; stepson Randy E. Koehler of Leander, Texas; stepdaughter Cindy E. Koehler of Flagstaff, Arizona; grandchildren, Summer I. Poniatowski, Dakota K. Poniatowski, Marcus C. Hofmeister and Lorelei A. Hofmeister; sister, Susan D. Cary of Coarsegold, California; step grandchildren and lots of nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
Kathy was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, John L. Wynne (Jack) and Roy T. Wynne; sisters, Marjorie W. Helton (Midge) and Janice E. Pettus; and nephew Jay Wynne.
A memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m., Friday, December 9, 2022 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas.
