Mrs. Kathren Mary Cornish, age 89, of Plano, Texas passed away May 22, 2010. She was born October 29, 1920, in Brooklyn, New York to Roy F. and Evelyn DeCourcey (White) Senior. On September 17, 1944, she married Robert Lee Cornish in Manhasset, New York. Mrs. Cornish was a homemaker and a member of the Lord of Life Lutheran Church. She was also a member of D.A.R., The National Society of Colonial Dames of America, The Underhill Society of America, and The Huguenot Society of America. She is survived by her son, Christopher K. Cornish of Sarasota, Florida; daughter, Cressida L. Littig and husband Gordan,of Saudi Arabia; grandchildren, Charissa K. King and her husband, Daniel, Jordana U. Cornish, John W. Cornish, Davina DeF. Cornish, J. Peter S. Cornish, David A.G. Cornish, Michael R.F. Cornish; great-grandchildren, Chloe and Christian King; and brother, Professor Hereward Senior of Montreal, Canada. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Cornish on March 23, 1992, and brother Professor John Senior. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 29, 2010, at the Lord of Life Lutheran Church, 3601 W. 15th St. Plano, Texas 75075. The family will receive friends at the church for a visitation, prior to the service, beginning at 10:00 a.m. Arrangements are under the direction of Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Directors.
