Kathy McClimans

Kathleen "Kathy" McClimans of McKinney, Texas passed away on August 5, 2018, at the age of 69.  She was born on April 1, 1949, to Carl Franklin and Norene Lela (Annis) Davis in Twin Falls, Idaho.  Kathy married Ira Allan McClimans on October 27, 1972, in Hansen, Idaho.  She was an active member at Chase Oaks Church in Plano, Texas.  Kathy was the secretary and treasurer for Different Breed Animal Rescue in McKinney.  She was a loving, wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend who will be missed.

Kathy is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Ira McClimans of McKinney, Texas; mother, Norene Davis of High Point, North Carolina; sons, Jay Allen Barnes McClimans of New York, George McClimans of McKinney, Texas and John McClimans and wife, Marjorie of Oak Harbor, Washington; grandchildren, Kirsten McClimans of Forney, Texas, Tiffanie Wright and husband, Cory of Plano, Texas, Ira McClimans of Forney, Texas, Michael McClimans of Forney, Texas, Trisha Flenner of McKinney, Texas, Katie McClimans of Oak Harbor, Washington, Mathew McClimans of Oak Harbor, Washington, Daniel McClimans of Oak Harbor, Washington, April McCloud of Ft. Worth, Texas, Jayla McClimans of New York; great-granddaughter, Addison McCloud; siblings, Betty Taylor of Lewisville, Texas, Geoff Davis and wife, Katie of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Bo Davis and wife, Elaine of Garland, Texas, June Arnold of Burlington, North Carolina and Lyle Davis and Beverly of High Point, North Carolina; and numerous other loving family and friends. 

She was preceded in death by her father, Carl Davis.

A graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m., August 16, 2018, 2018 at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, Texas 75211.  The family will receive friends during a visitation on Wednesday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013.
