IN LOVING MEMORY

Kathleen Danielle Clark

Feb 22 1986 - Jan 20 2021

It is with profound sadness that the family of Kathleen Danielle Clark announce her peaceful passing on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at the age of 34. She fought for two years with Aplastic Anemia, a rare autoimmune disease. COVID-19, along with her Aplastic Anemia battle, were the cause of her passing. Kathleen was loved by everyone who crossed her path, and had many important titles, including but not limited to Kathy, Mama, Kat Kat, and Samika. She was a loving daughter, sister and proud mother to two beautiful girls. Kathy grew up with a strong foundation of love, which she instilled in her own children and anyone else that came into her life.

Kathleen Danielle Clark passed away January 20, 2021 at the age of 34. She was born on February 22, 1986 to James Donald Clark (Daddy-O) and Lorena (Massey) Clark in McKinney, Texas. She is survived by her daughters, Graycie Faith Danielle Brown and Landyn Hope Avery Brown, both of Tom Bean, Texas; father, Donald James Clark of McKinney, Texas; mother, Lorena Massey Clark and Lee Rodriguez of Tom Bean, Texas; sister, Kourtney Clark; brother, Kacey Clark and wife, Jordan Clark; and sister, Bella Rodriguez; grandmothers, Laura “Grandy” Faye of Austin, Texas and Catherine “Nanny” Massey of Wolfe City, Texas; nephews, Jacksyn Clark, Kaiden Clark, and Maddox Sisson; nieces, Layla Sisson and Dixie Clark; and numerous other loving family members and friends. Kathleen was preceded in death by her grandfathers, James “Papa” Massey, Don Clark Sr. and grandmother, Nancy “Nan” Aaron.

Kathy attended primary school at J.W. Webb, secondary school at Faubion and received her high school diploma at McKinney North High School. She held multiple certifications and degrees, including a medical billing and coding degree at Remington College, medical training for trauma through TMC and an insurance agent certification through her most previous employment at All-State insurance. She was an exemplary employee in the emergency and trauma unit at Texoma Medical Center and a successful insurance agent at All-State Insurance.

There are not enough words or hours in the day to share the memories that friends and family have shared with us since Kathy’s passing. She was the person you could call, day or night, knowing she would drop anything to help or be the shoulder to lean on. If her friends and family could pick any profession for her, it would’ve been stand up comedy. Her laughter and comedic personality would send happy tears down your face, especially when her alter personality, “Samika”, was on the phone. Landyn and Graycie loved when “Samika” was present, which will forever be a highlight in their never-ending memories. Towards the end of Kathy’s battle with Aplastic Anemia and Covid-19, she held high spirits for her girls. Kathleen was a Godly woman with a free spirit, enjoyed spontaneous travel, brought laughter to everyone and loved unconditionally.

We want to ignite the memories that each and every one of us hold near and dear to our hearts about Kathleen. We ask that you help us keep her presence alive. Speak her name, celebrate her, tell your family and friends about the Godly woman she was and allow her memory to carry you through your life. Grief may rise, and that’s okay. Though her physical body has left us to begin her walk with angels, Kathleen will continue to live on in our mind and heart. We know that she is hand in hand with her Papa, Topper, J.T., Nana, Tommy, and Raymond looking down at us and dancing in the sky.
