Kathleen Ann Miller Dollinger of Allen, Texas passed away October 27, 2017, at the age of 66. She was born May 27, 1951, to Donald Miller and Ella (Johnson) Miller in Rochester, New York. Kathleen married Lewis Leonard Dollinger, III on July 2, 1971, in Rochester where they began their family. They later moved to Ft. Collins, Colorado and then eventually to Texas where they remained until their final days. Kathleen lived her life as a devoted wife, mother to three sons, and a beloved friend to her community. She spent most of her time working in IT for Collin College and volunteering thru her parish, St. Jude Catholic Church of Allen Texas; of which she and her husband were founding members and remained active throughout their lifetime.She spent her final years quietly devoted to her family as a care taker for her husband and a doting grandmother. She lived a life marked by love, strength, and compassion and she will be missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her sons, Brian Dollinger and wife (Leslie) of Omaha, Nebraska, Daniel Dollinger and wife (Theresa) of Allen, Texas, and Shawn Dollinger and wife (Gail Harmon) of Jersey City, New Jersey; grandchildren, Norah, Hannah, Cooper, and Tegan; sisters, Sharon and husband Dr. Bill Gern of Laramie, Wyoming, Patricia Miller-Bissel and husband John of Denver, Colorado, and Amy Miller Webb also of Denver.
Kathleen was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Leonard Dollinger III, brother, Donald Miller Jr., and parents.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m., Thursday, November 2, 2017 at at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton in Plano, Texas.
