Katherine Ann Meyer of Celina, Texas passed away July 6, 2019 at the age of 63. She was born on October 27, 1955 to Dennis Silas Sanders and Helen Elizabeth Browne in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Kathy grew up in Bloomington, Minnesota where she graduated from high school in 1973. She married Daniel Vincent Meyer on May 6, 1977 in Bloomington. Kathy worked for Target for 17 years and Marshalls for over 10 years. She enjoyed interior decorating, but she most loved spending time with and serving her family.
Kathy is survived by her beloved husband of 42 years, Dan Meyer of Celina, Texas; children, Kristin Meyer of Sherman, Texas, Nick Meyer and wife, Kayleen of Roanoke, Texas and Michelle Fischer and husband, Kyle of Dallas, Texas; grandchildren, Zach Meyer, Jayden Meyer and Adeline Meyer; brothers, Gerry Sanders and Rich Sanders; several nieces, nephews and a host of the other loving family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Dave Sanders.
A funeral service will be held at 3:30 p.m., Friday July 12, 2019 at White Rock Fellowship, 6800 Town North Drive, Dallas, Texas 75231. The family will receive friends during a visitation one hour prior to service at the church.
