Karolyn was a good friend from High School, I was shocked to hear about her passing because I’ve just seen her at the store. I had the pleasure to visit with her for a little bit, she was looking forward to our reunion. My heart goes out to the family in these sad times. Diane Stewart, April 12, 2021 Karolyn was not only a friend in High School Class of 1971, She was family on my Husband's side of the family. Her Mother-In-Law, Louise Johnson and my Mother-in-Law, Patsy Parks were sisters. Many happy memories and good times with Karolyn will be greatly missed. The most memorable legacy she left was the Honorable Christian she was. We'll see you soon my friend, when it's our appointed time to go. Praying for the family
Sherry Parks , April 9, 2021 As of many others, I was the grateful recipient of Karolyn's friendship, kindness and thoughtfulness. Her absence in the fellowship of Community North Baptist Church will always bring an ache to our hearts, but a smile to our faces, as Karolyn was never without a smile! Loved those vintage hats! I imagine they had one waiting for her in heaven when she flew to Jesus! Grateful to have known her, Betty Rutledge Betty Rutledge, April 9, 2021 My heart is with you in this time of sorrow. She was always bright, happy, and caring. Karolyn was a friend to everyone but I counted her as a special friend. She was a person of great character and integrity. Heaven is rejoicing today and Karolyn is at home with Jesus. I was looking forward to seeing her this summer at our reunion but I will now wait and see her one day soon. Judy Class71 Judy Robinson Randolph, April 7, 2021 I never got to meet Karolyn in person. I know she was a wonderful person through all of the stories I have heard from my good friend Michael. We spoke on Facebook now and then and I could tell she would have been a wonderful person to have known. May her kind spirit help all who loved her get through this terrible time. Karolyn I know you will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved you. Scarlet Scarlet Harvey, April 6, 2021 Carolyn was such a sweet and caring person and always thinking of others. She was in my Sunday School Class at Community North Baptist Church and when I could go she was always in her place there in SS. Carolyn loved sending cards and most every month, I received a sweet card from her. She was on the Encouragement Committee and helped sending cards every month. In fact, I received an Easter card she signed last week with missing you in it. Charlotte Jennings, April 6, 2021 Karolyn was the sweetest lady I knew. She was my Aunt and I have so many sweet memories of her while growing up. For years, She would pick my sister and myself up before school started and take us school shopping where she worked at Ross in McKinney. She would always send cards and sweet notes. Im at a loss for words and she will be incredibly missed by many people.
