Karen Wade Robertson, age 77, of Oak Point, Texas, passed away on February 5, 2018, in Denton, Texas. She was born in Corsicana, Texas, on December 5, 1940, to Hershel Bernard and Gladys Novelle (Neese) Wade, joining two older brothers on the farm.
On August 12, 1972, Karen married Elliott Robertson in Richardson, Texas, and was a homemaker. With their desire for country life, they moved to Little Elm, Texas, where Elliott continued his career in law enforcement. Until health problems slowed her down, she was an active member of the Lions Club and Red Hats, and worked elections and Summer lunch programs for children.
Karen is survived by a host of friends and was preceded in death by her husband, Elliott Robertson.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Living Word Church on Saturday, February 24, 2018, beginning at 1:00 PM with Pastor Richard Stevens officiating. A private burial will be held at DFW National Cemetery.
