Karen grew up with a warm heart and a giving spirit that would define her life. On April 15, 1997, she married the love of her life, Joseph “Joe” Roybal, in McKinney, Texas. Together, they built a home filled with love, laughter, and countless cherished memories.
Karen was a creative soul with a warm heart. She found joy in music, art, and scrapbooking and held a soft spot in her heart for animals. Her Catholic faith was the foundation of her life, and she lived with kindness and compassion as her guiding principles.
A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Karen dedicated her life to caring for her family. She gave to them selflessly, always putting their needs before her own. She had a nurturing way about her and was happiest when surrounded by the people she loved most. Karen will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Joe Roybal; daughters, Katelyn Roth, Makenzie Roybal, and Isabel Roybal; son in-law, Tyler Roth; grandsons, River Roth and Levi Roth; mother, Marsha Riddle; and numerous other loving family and friends.
Karen is reunited in peace with her father, Dewey Riddle.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, August 7, 2025 at St. Gabriel the Archangel Catholic Church, 110 St. Gabriel Way, McKinney, Texas 75071.
Karen will be inurned in Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen.
