Karen Francis Delanoy, age 68 of Frisco, Texas passed away October 3, 2008 after a short battle with cancer. She was born November 6, 1939 to Corrine (Seltenreich) and Don Francis in Enid, Oklahoma. Karen grew up in Enid and graduated from Enid High School in 1957 and Enid Business College in 1959. She was with Century 21 for over 10 years where she was consistently the top producer and received many prestigious awards. Her love of animals led her to own and operate her own pet sitting and animal rescue business. Karen is survived by her sons, Brad Robbins of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Greg Delanoy of Arlington, Texas; daughter, Gabrielle Schermer of Frisco, Texas; six grandchildren; mother, Corrine Francis of Enid, Oklahoma; sister, LaDonna Francis of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; brother, Jim Francis of Enid, Oklahoma. Karen is preceded in death by her father and one brother. A Memorial Service will be held at Karen’s residence in Frisco on Thursday, October 9, 2008 at 7:30 PM. Family and friends are invited to Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Frisco at their convenience on Thursday, October 9, 2008 to pay their respects and to sign the register book. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Thursday from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, prior to Karen’s memorial service. A Graveside Service will be held Memorial Park Cemetery in Enid, Oklahoma on Saturday, October 11, 2008 at 10:30 AM with Rev. Kevin Choate officiating. A visitation will be held at Anderson Burris Funeral Home, 3002 N. Van Buren, Enid Oklahoma 73703, on Friday, October 8, 2008 until 9:00 PM.
