Kandice ‘Kandi’ Starr Prescher was born on December 1, 1973 in McKinney, Texas. She passed to her heavenly home on July 28, 2025, in Fort Worth, Texas.
Kandi accepted Christ at a young age and found great joy in worship, especially through contemporary Christian music. Her faith was a guiding light throughout her life. A celebration of her life will be held on August 25 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at The Heights Church, located at 201 W. Renner Road, Richardson, Texas.
Kandi was a vibrant, loving, and joyful soul. Known for her outgoing personality and radiant smile, she brought light and laughter to everyone around her. As a child, she was full of energy and spirit—always seeking adventure, and never one to be slowed down by bumps or bruises. She formed strong and lasting friendships, and those who knew her remember her as deeply loyal and full of life.
Kandi adored her family and cherished every moment with them. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend. Her love was expansive—she poured herself into her relationships and was always there for those in need.
Professionally, Kandi held several roles throughout her career. Most recently, she worked for six years at Teladoc Health as an Accounts Receivable Team Lead, where she was not only respected for her work ethic but also deeply valued as a friend and colleague.
In recent years, Kandi developed a passion for Jeep adventures. She loved driving with the top down, wind in her hair, in her beloved Jeep -- “Sweet Emotion”, adorned with butterflies. She became an active member of the DFW Jeep Girls *Official* group, where she found community, friendship, and a shared spirit of service. Her generous heart led her to participate in community service through the group, continuing her lifelong desire to help others.
Kandi also found great joy riding motorcycles with Ray Jimenez, a man she held close to her heart. Together, they took part in the 2025 Memorial Day “Run for the Wall’” ride to Washington D.C., honoring those who made the ultimate sacrifice. This experience became one of her most treasured memories, sharing photos and videos all along the journey.
Kandi is lovingly remembered by her sons: Scott Prescher, Tyler Prescher, and Aaron Prescher & spouse Ralee; her grandchildren: Theo, Ruth, and Opal; her mother Katherine Tidwell and stepfather Ed Tidwell; her stepmother Jeannie Wyatt; her sister Krystl Wyatt-Heine & spouse Stephen, stepsister Melissa Tidwell and stepbrother Brandon Tidwell; her brother J.J. Wyatt & nephew Joseph; and a large extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.
She is preceded in death by her father Keith Wyatt; stepfather Charles Dodd; grandparents Terrance and Doris Wyatt, Clyde and Mae Ann Newby; and several beloved family members who now welcome her home.
Kandi’s spirit, laughter, and love will live on in all who knew her. She rejoices now in Heaven—perfect, whole, and surrounded by the love of her Savior. Her message to family and friends: Accept God’s love, and He will welcome you with open arms.
